SCIENCE HISTORY STUDY PROGRAM INVITE THE STUDENTS IN ORDER TO MAKE A POLICY RESEARCH IN SUMERTA VILLAGE

Dr. I Nyoman Wijaya, Hum. when giving the stabilization of historical research materials to the History of Science Students who will conduct research in Sumerta.

Denpasar – Sunday (19/02), About 13 History of Science Students gathered in Tri Sadhana Putra Library (TSP), which belongs to one of the professors of History Science, Dr. I Nyoman Wijaya, M.Hum, in order to establish themselves to conduct research related to social cultural in Sumerta Village, East Denpasar. This research was presented by the government of Denpasar to History Science Program with the provisions should include the students in doing research. With the student participation, it is expected to foster students' critical spirit while facing the phenomenon that is happening in society, both social and cultural phenomenon. It is planned that this study will take place from February until early April 2017.

"The results of this study will be used as a reference by Sumerta Village Government, Denpasar, particularly in formulating policy on the management of migration by using the potential of culture", said I Nyoman Wijaya, the Lecturer of Science History, Unud. The targets of this research are that it can bring out a social history that could be used as a reference by policy makers who want to use the potential of culture in managing migration policy. Not only that, it also provides a pattern of thinking on how the Science History is able to examine a phenomenon from micro to macro interest, he added. (mimi)
