Political Science Intern at Udayana University Builds Snakes and Ladders Election Game

Denpasar, In the context of releasing the internship, the MBKM Political Science internship student at Udayana University under the guidance of Dr. Kadek Dwita Apriyani, S.Sos., M.IP., created a prototype of the snake and ladder election game as a form of output in internship activities at the General Election Commission of Bali Province. The prototype of the election game was simulated by interns in the KPU Meeting Room of the Province of Bali. (06/06/2022)

The launching of the snake and ladder election game was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Udayana University, Dr. Drs. I Nengah Punia, M.Sc., together with Dr. Ni Made Ras Amanda Gelgel, S.Sos., M.Si. as Deputy Dean I, Dr. I Made Anom Wiranata., S.IP., MA., and Dr. Tedi Erviantono, S.IP. M.Sc., as the Coordinator of the Political Science Study Program. Also present were lecturers of Political Science and the media team of Udayana University.

The trial of the prototype game for the election of snakes and ladders was opened directly by the Chairman of the General Election Commission of the Province of Bali, I Dewa Agung Gede Lidartawan, S.Tp., M.P. On this occasion, Nengah Punia in his speech hoped a lot for this internship, in addition to adding experience and direct learning for students, this activity is also expected to provide benefits for the university and also related institutions.

The activity continued with a simulation of the snake and ladder election game played by 5 (five) interns. The snake and ladder election game, which was initiated by the Chairperson of the Bali Provincial KPU and developed by interns, contains questions related to elections on each ladder and its snakes. The snake and ladder game is intended to provide electoral education through games which will later be used during the socialization of novice voters and the general public, as well as during technical guidance (bimtek) for election organizers.

This activity was closed with the signing of an implementation of arrangement by Agung Lidartawan and Tedi Erviantono, as well as the submission of a prototype of the snake and ladder election game, souvenirs, and also a certificate to the Bali Provincial KPU as a partner from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Udayana University.
