Badung – The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Law, Udayana University (BEM FH Unud) implemented the 2026 Legal and Foster Village Socialization Work Program in Pangsan Village, Petang District, Badung Regency. This activity is an implementation of the Impactful Campus Program and the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education), particularly in the area of community service.
The program, which lasted for one month, from May 10 to June 7, 2026, aimed to increase public legal awareness and strengthen village capacity in various aspects, from legal understanding, community empowerment, to strengthening village potential.

The activity began with an opening ceremony, followed by a legal socialization session for the Pangsan Village community. During this activity, Udayana University’s Faculty of Law students provided education on the importance of legal understanding in daily life to support the creation of a legally aware society capable of resolving various legal issues appropriately.
During the program, BEM FH Unud held several activities involving the community and village officials. One of the main activities was the Community Paralegal Training, attended by 29 village officials and five students from the Faculty of Law, Udayana University. This training aimed to improve participants’ skills in providing basic legal assistance in the community.

In addition, participants received training in drafting village regulations to increase the capacity of village officials to draft regulations that meet the needs and conditions of the local community. This activity is expected to support better village governance and be responsive to community needs.
Beyond focusing solely on the legal field, the program also provided environmental education through outreach and practical training on biopore construction, followed by installation of biopores at several locations in Pangsan Village. These activities aimed to raise public awareness of the importance of environmental management and support community-based environmental conservation efforts.

As part of their community service, students also conducted educational activities with students of SD Negeri 1 Pangsan. Through various interactive activities, they sought to foster a passion for learning, increase motivation, and encourage students to continue striving to achieve their goals.
At the closing ceremony on June 7, 2026, the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Law, Udayana University, presented several program outputs to the Pangsan Village Government. These outputs include data collection and proposals for five Traditional Cultural Expressions as Communal Intellectual Property, registration of ten works as Personal Intellectual Property, and facilitation of the issuance of 28 Business Identification Numbers (NIB) for village businesses.

Through the 2026 Legal Socialization and Fostered Village Program, the Udayana University Faculty of Law Student Executive Board (BEM FH Unud) demonstrated its commitment to providing tangible contributions to the community through legal education, village empowerment, and strengthening local potential. This program is expected to be a sustainable step in building partnerships between universities and communities to create legally aware, independent, and empowered villages.
