Workload and Workers Musculoskeletal Complaints Before and After Rice Drying Process at Polisher Rice Unit, P4S Sriwijaya, Gadungan Village, Selemadeg Subdistrict, Tabanan Regency.

The limit of rice drying worker in producing optimum outputs can be done by determining workload and worker’s muscle complaints, especially related to physical workload. The aim of this research was to understand the workload and musculoskeletal complaints that were faced by rice drying workers. This research was experimental research and the model approach which was used was pre-test post-test one group design which was done by doing experiment on one group without compare it to another group. Workload was determined through the measurement of workers’ pulse rate mean and musculoskeletal complaint were determined by using Nordic body Map questioner. The results showed that workers’ workload categorized as mild range at pulse rate mean ranges 100-125 pulse/minute. In addition, the pain on whole neck, on both shoulders, on both arms, on back, on waist, on buttocks, on ankles and on foot were the main musculoskeletal complaint experienced by the workers.
