PREVALENCE AND PATHOLOGY INFESTATION PARAMPHISTOMUM SPP. ON RUMEN BALI CATTLE SLAUGHTERED IN ABATTOIRS CITY OF DENPASAR

Paramphistomiasis is a disease caused by infection of Paramphistomum spp. The disease can be affecting productivity of Bali cattle. A description study was conducted to determine the prevalence of Paramphistomum spp. in Bali cattle slaughtered in abattoirs city of Denpasar. Samples were collected from 200 cattle, Research was done at Mei until June 2015. Data used was primary data obtained through direct observation in the rumen of cattle slaughtered bali. Each rumen will be in the data whether or not worm Paramphistomum spp. the number of observations every day an average of 15 head of cattle rumen bali. Prevalance was calculated by dividing positive of sample with the total sample of examined then multiplied 100%. The result showed that prevalence Paramphistomum spp. on rumen bali cattle slaughtered in abattoirs city of Denpasar were 15%.
