Ni Putu Sri Anjani. NIM 1105105003. The Effectiveness Of The Use Of Compost For Vegetable Outcome Of Beans In Subak Basang Be (Vigna sinensis L.). Under Supervised by: Ir. I Gusti Ngurah Raka, MS. and Ir. I Ketut Arsa Wijaya, M. Si. Long beans (Vigna sinensis L.) is one kind of plant hotikultura which has long been cultivated by famers, both as well as plant monocultures sidelines. The use of effective and efficient fertilizer is basically giving appropriate doses of fertilizer and plant growth conditions by considering the environmental conditions. This study aim to determinte the effectiveness of the use of compost forresultvegetable of beans. Design used was a randomized block design with 5 treatments and 5 replications. The treatment given is the use of doses of compost differ include without fertilizer (control), giving a dose of 5 t/ha (P1), 10 t/ha (P2), 15 t/ha (P3) and 20 t/ha. Variables growth and yield were observed in this trial is plant height, leaf number, chlorophyll content of leaves, pods display, fresh weight per plant yield per hectare. The result showed dosage of compost 10 t/ha (P3) were able to increase result of beans compared with controls. Dose of compost 10 t/ha (P3) were able to increase the number of pods of 6,33 fruit, pod lenght of 65,93 cm, fresh pods per plant weight of 60,3 grams and the yield per hectare of 5,03 t/ha.
