Advocate is a person who is giving legal services both inside and outside the court that based on the values of the Code Ethics of Advocates and meet the requirements under the provisions of the law. The code of ethics is ethics which values are embodied in morals and decency. The application of the code of conduct is very important to keep the practice or advocate in proceedings not out of the value - the value of the profession so that advocates can maintain the image and honor the dignity of the profession, as well as loyal and uphold the code of ethics and professional oath. Method used is a normative, by analyzing a legal problem through legislation, literature, literature, and other reference materials. The results of this research are the norm haziness resulting in loss of criminal responsibility advocates who oppose the criminal law when performing their duties so that the profession needs the addition of good faith in the sense of Article 16 of Law No. 18 of 2003 on advocates.
