THE CORRELATION BETWEEN SOCIAL SUPPORT AND SELF EFFICACY WITH THE LEVEL OF STRESS OF NURSES AT SANGLAH GENERAL HOSPITAL

Stress is something that is happened towards everyone including nurse. Stress related with support giving can make an individual that received the support feel acceptable in the group and loved. Other than that, stress also related to individual faith at their own ability to do several activities to get the result they want to achieve. The purpose of this study was to know the correlation between the social support and self-efficacy with the level of stress of nurses at Sanglah General Hospital. This research used quantitative method with multiple regression analysis. Meanwhile the experiment subjects are 341 nurses at Sanglah General Hospital. The data is taken with stress level scale, social support scale, and self efficacy scale. Result of experiment shows F value = 86,426 with sig = 0,000. There is a negative relationship between social support with stress levels, as well as negative relationship between self efficacy with stress levels. Based on the results of multiple regression, it showed that the higher the social support and self efficacy, the lower the level of stress that would have happened.
