Prevalensi demam akut dan petekie pada anak usia <15 tahun yang terdiagnosis demam berdarah dengue di RSU Negara-Bali Januari 2012-Desember 2013

Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is an acute infectious disease caused by the dengue virus of the family Flaviviridae and genus flavi virus that can be fatal if a patient canít get proper treatment in a relatively short period. This study used a descriptive cross sectional design, using secondary data of pediatric patients aged <15 years who experienced DHF with positive IgM and or IgG on Negara Hospital during January 2012 to December 2013. Based on age of 28 samples, at <5 years old samples were 5 kids (17.8%), 5-10 years old samples were 20 kids (71.4%), 11-?15 yearsí samples were 3 kids (10.7%). By sex, male samples were 19 kids (67.9%) and female samples were 9 kids (32.1%). Based on serological test results obtained in the form of IgM seropositivity (+) were 9 kids (32%), IgG (+) were 14 kids (50%), IgM and IgG (+) were 5 kids (18%). In the clinical picture, which is experiencing an acute fever were 19 kids (67.8%) and petechiae were 17 kids (60.7%). The result show that the age of a sample of 28 of the mostcommonly experienced with dengue IgM and or IgGpositive was 5-10 years (71.4%), male kids more affected than female (67.9%), secondary dengue seroprevalence higher than (68%) of primary dengue. In the clinical picture of acute febrile obtained (67.8%) and petechiae (60.7%).
