OVERVIEW ON THE CHARACTERISTICS OF CLAVICLE FRACTURE ON POSTPARTUM NEONATAL IN SANGLAH HOSPITAL PERIOD 2011-2013

?Clavicle is a bone that easy to be fractures during the birth process. Clavicle fracture is a complication that occurs when vaginal delivery. Clavicle fracture is a major cause of shoulder dystocia. Intravaginal delivery and macrosomia is also a major risk factor for fractures of the clavicle. ?This study was conducted using cross-sectional method and the sampling technique is total sampling. The sample data used are all deliveries originating from Sanglah Hospital Medical Record, Orthopaedic SMF Sanglah Hospital, and VK IRD Sanglah Hospital from January 2011 until December 2013. ?There were 7345 births occurred at Sanglah Hospital on January 2011 until December 2013. 112 deliveries with shoulder dystocia that fulfill the inclusion and exclusion criteria. 88% labor with SC and 12% an intravaginal delivery. There are 9% of cases of macrosomia from 112 deliveries with shoulder dystocia. 12% of normal delivery with shoulder dystocia deliveries using ALARMER maneuver. Thus characteristics of the newborn clavicle fracture in Sanglah Hospital from January 2011 until December 2013 were 0 case from different types of labor. ?It can be concluded that the description of clavicle fracture characteristics of the newborn after delivery in Sanglah Hospital from 2011 until 2013 is 0.
