Chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM) is a continuation of the initial episode acute otitis media (AOM) with symptoms persistent secretions from the middle ear to the tympanic membrane perforation. This issue becomes an important thing to solve hearing loss problem that occurs in many developing countries. This study was conducted to determine the patientís characteristics with chronic suppurative otitis media in Sanglah Hospital ENT clinic in the period from January to June of 2013. Patientís data that suffered chronic suppurative otitis media collected from patients medical records who seek treatment at ENT clinic Sanglah Hospital in the period January Ė June 2013. The total number of patients with chronic suppurative otitis media in the ENT clinic Sanglah Hospital during the period from January to June 2013 were 117 people, with the number of men is 64 people (54.7%) and women is 53 people (45.3%). Most age groups suffer from CSOM is the age group between 11- 20 years, as many as 47 people (40.2%). Data distribution on clinical symptoms suffered by patients CSOM is watery ear were 107 people (91.5%), ear pain were 22 people (18.8%), and hearing loss were 58 people (49.6%). Type of disease that most suffered by CSOM patients was a benign type as many as 112 people (95.7%) whereas the malignant type was 5 people (4.3%).
