PREVALENCE AND RISK FACTORS FOR MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL DISORDER USING KMME IN CHILDREN 3-6 YEARS IN DISTRICT DAUH PURI KELOD, DENPASAR

Developmental disorders and this behavior is a problem that is often found in the community. This phenomenon will be an iceberg and can add to the burden and cost of government health. Therefore, research is needed that can provide the data the prevalence of mental and emotional disorders in children, especially based on risk factors. In this research study the quantitative analysis of cross-sectional to obtain the prevalence and risk factors for mental and emotional disorders in the village of Dauh Puri kelod Denpasar with specifications based on gender, number of siblings, emotional trauma, academic failure, history of complications during birth and early days of the baby, history chronic illness, family disharmony, parents with mental illness or drug dependence, and parenting parents, and know the significance of each risk factor. The research was conducted in the village Dauh kelod Puri Denpasar at 4 kindergarten (kindergarten) were selected randomly ie Aisyiah TK, TK Anugrah, Sari Kumara kindergarten, and kindergarten Barunawati during the months of September-November 2014. In total 118 samples were reported in the study this; 22 samples went to kindergarten Barunawati, 44 samples of school in kindergarten Grace, 24 samples of school in kindergarten Aisiyah 2, 28 samples went to kindergarten Sari Kumara. In this study, 63.6% of children with suspected prevalence of mental and emotional disorders with distribution KMME score as much as 27.1% ie 1, 2 as much as 13.6%, 3 as much as 10.2%, 4 as much as 8.5%, 5 total 2.5%, and 7 and 9 respectively 0.8%. Based on the analysis Chi square, of the nine variables in the analysis of parenting discipline with violence, history of birth complications and early days of his infant, a history of chronic disease, a history of emotional trauma, academic failure, with parent households is not stable (often quarreled and divorced ) showed an effect on the prevalence of mental and emotional disorders based KMME (significant, p <0.05, 95% CI). The next research must be done to determine the cause of many ketidakbermaknaan (not significant) and the interrelationships between these variables.
