Background and aim: Pain in delivery process is a result of uterus contractions caused mother increased worry, tense, fear and stress that can make other impact. During the delivery proses one role of well process is social support. In this principle involves actively husband for delivery process. This study aimed at proving relation the role of husband assistance by pain intensity scale I on Laboring mother. Method: The research had been conducted by cross sectional research on 61 laboring mothers chosen by inclusion criteria and consecutive technique sampling at Nurjaya Clinic KabupatenBadung. Husband assistance measured by using observation sheet while the intensity pain scale I measured by using scale of measurement combination of Visual analog Scale (VAS) and Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Data was analyzed by univariate, bivariate, and multivariate. Result: The husband assistance as facilitator meaningful significantly in reducing pain intensity on delivery scale I (p=0,01). Laboring mother who was accompanied by husband with the role as facilitator have 93,2% experiencing moderate pain compared with the role as participator 70,6%. While the severe pain more experiencing mother who was accompanied by husband with the role as participator 29,4% than mother who was accompanied by husband with the role as facilitator 6,8%. Conclusion: The husband assistance as facilitator meaningful significantly in reducing pain intensity on delivery scale I than the husband assistance as participator.
