Tourism business in the field of tour and travel services is growing from year to year in Bali, especially so many workers absorbed. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of interpersonal communication in mediating influence on employee performance transactional leadership in Purnayasa Tour and Travel Bali. This research was conducted in Purnayasa Tour and Travel Bali with path analysis technique (path analysis). The number of samples, by using census method (total sampling) is as much as 90 respondents. The results of the analysis transactional leadership positive and significant effect partially to interpersonal communication. Transactional leadership positive and significant effect partially on employee performance. Interpersonal communication positive and significant effect partially on employee performance. Interpersonal communication significantly positive mediated influence on employee performance transactional leadership
