Energy from the sun can be harnessed using solar collector, which heat radiation from the sun is collected and converted into thermal energy. To get the performance of a concentrated solar collector is the sunlight that afflicts the concentrator will then be forwarded to the absorber pipe so that the heat will be forwarded to the fluid to be heated. To get a continuous heat can be done by using heat storage media one of them is a black sand beach. So that heat reflected by the concentrator will be absorbed first by the receiver pipe in which there are sand and absorber pipe shaped spiral. By placing the absorber pipe in pipe receiver then the heat absorbed by the receiver pipe will be forwarded to the sand and then absorbed by the absorber pipe to increase heat absorption. The method used in this research is to put the sand as a heat storage media. In the sand there is spiral shaped absorber pipe for water flow in a concentrated solar collector. In this test the independent variables studied or tested influence of estrangement is spiral shaped absorber pipe are be varied within the distance of estrangement 3, 5, and 7 cm. From the test results a concentrated solar collector overall seen that Tout, Qu, and the efficiency of the absorber pipe estrangement 5 cm showed the best results with estrangement 3 cm and 7 cm.
