IMPLEMENTATION OF LAW NUMBER 13 OF 2003 CONCERNING EMPLOYMENT EMPLOYMENT FOR WOMEN IN CITY HOTEL IN DENPASAR (STUDY AT THE HOTEL SANTOSA AND HOTEL WISATA INDAH)

Implementation of labor legislation is also intended to maintain the balance / harmony of the relationship between the rights and obligations of employers and workers / laborers so that the business continuity and peace in the workplace in order to improve labor productivity and labor welfare can be guaranteed. This study aimed to find out whether in Denpasar businesses, especially in the field of hospitality, especially a city already implementing or have yet to implement Law No. 13 of 2003 on Labour in particular about the rights of women workers and how the responsibility of the city hotel when violations. In writing this essay used empirical juridical approach, with the specification of the research study is descriptive analysis. Data collection methods used are primary data and secondary data, with data collection techniques by interviewing system. The analysis in this thesis using qualitative data analysis. City hotel research sample is already implementing Law No. 13 of 2003 on Manpower to the work force. However, when viewed from the agreement works, the specificity of employment for women, not all the rules governing the special rights of employment for women was set in the employment agreement, the rules such as miscarriage leave and menstruation leave. The responsibility of a city if it does not comply with the statutory provisions or the city hotel that abused women's labor can be imposed sanctions by the Labour Inspection Agency. In order to completment the hotel over the content of the agreement and the later works if there are problems to be resolved amicably.
