ANXIETY LEVEL AMONG 9th GRADE STUDENT IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL PGRI 2 TO DEAL WITH NATIONAL EXAM

National exam is used as a standardization of the government to test a worthiness of student to be able continue their education to a higher level and as a national educational equity. National exam is often used as a burden by the students. This disturbing their psychological anxiety that would interfere with their activities as a threat. Tranquility in the conduct of national examinations is absolutely needed for the students of junior high school PGRI 2 Denpasar so that early detection of anxiety levels of students needs to be done. This research is a quantitative study using descriptive cross sectional design that was conducted on March 22th, 2015 in Junior high school PGRI 2 Denpasar. These samples were taken with stratified random sampling technique and obtained 90 samples thats met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data was collected using TMAS (Taylor Manifest Axientas Scale). The results found woman, and 20% man. And among the student has mild anxiety, 42.9% follow extrachool tutor, and student has moderate anxiety, 44,9% follow extraschool tutor, and the students who has severe anxiety, 46,7% follow extraschool tutor. So it can be said women have a tendency to experience anxiety than men and students who follow the guidance of learning tend to have lower levels of anxiety. Conclusion, research must be done in order to find a solution to anxiety levels were found in student.
