ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION COST ANALYSIS IMBALANCES IN THE FACULTY OF ENGINEERING UNIVERSITY UDAYANA

Infrastructure development carried out by the technical University of Udayana both on campus and the Bukit Jimbaran Campus Faculty of Engineering at the PB.Sudirman Denpasar continuous basis. The development is intended to make the Faculty of Engineering as an education institution to conduct Tri Dharma College qualified. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of load imbalance on the current, voltage power, and calculate how much power losses the occure as a result of an imbalance load on electrical installations. Based on the analysis performent load on each MDP Faculty of Engineering, University of Udayana in an unbalance state. Can be known based on the calculation of power losses on each SDP, power losses unbalanced load is greater than the power loss in the load balanced conditions. Loss-power loss load balanced MDP1 is 42.688 Watt while MDP2 is 286.56 Watt. While the condition of unbalanced load power loss at MDP1 is 55,929 Watt and MDP2 is 357,087 Watt. Power losses that occur in electrical installations will be even greater if the current flowing in the installation becomes larger. To install the new connections to the electrical installation must pay attention to the data that exist, so the connection loading on one phase is not too large this may result in an unbalanced load greater.
