Udayana University which was founded on September 29, 1962, and initiated by the establishment of the Faculty of Letters which was part of Airlangga University on September 29, 1958. At the first time, three faculties have been established: Faculty of Letters (FS Unud), Faculty of Medicine (FK Unud), and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry (FKHP Unud). Now, Udayana University has ten faculties: Faculty of Letters, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, and Faculty of Tourism. Moreover, there are also two study programs: D-4 Study Program in Tourism and Public Health Study Program.

On October 6, 1992, Udayana University was appointed by the Department of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, which was represented by the Directorate General of Higher Education to organize master programs and on June 1, 2012, there are 25 master programs, namely:

Since its inception until October 16, 2000, all activities, which held by the Graduate Program of Udayana University, was coordinated by Prof. Dr. I Ketut Nehen, S.E., M.Sc. assisted by a Secretary: Dr. Ni Luh Sutjiati Beratha, M.A. Then, following the Decree issued by the Rector Number: 145/J14/KP.07.02/2000, the Director, Deputy Director I (for Academic and Student Affairs) and Deputy Director II (Administration and Finance) were appointed. The first Director of the Graduate Program of Udayana University was Prof. Dr. dr. I Made Bakta, Sp.P.D. (KHOM) who was assisted by the Deputy Director I, Prof. Dr. Ir. Dewa Ngurah Suprapta, M.Sc., and the Deputy Director II, Dr. Ni Luh Sutjiati Beratha, M.A. The second Director of the Graduate Program of Udayana University was Prof. Dr. Ir. I Dewa Ngurah Suprapta, M.Sc. who was assisted by the Deputy Director I, Prof. Dr. Ni Luh Sutjiati Beratha, M.A., and the Deputy Director II, Dr. I Putu Gde Sukaatmadja, SE., MP. The third Director of the Graduate Program of Udayana University was Prof. Dr. dr. AA Raka Sudewi, Sp.S(K) pursuant to the Decree issued by the Rector Number: 606/H14/KP/2009 who was assisted by the Deputy Director I, Prof. Dr. Made Budiarsa, MA, and the Deputy Director II, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Budi Susrusa, M.S. The fourth Director of the Graduate Program of Udayana University was Prof. Dr. dr. A.A Raka Sudewi, Sp.S(K) pursuant to the Rector Decree Number: 505/UN14/KP/2013 who was assisted by the Deputy Director I, Prof. Dr. Made Budiarsa, MA, and the Deputy Director II, Prof. Made Sudiana Mahendra, Ph.D. The fifth Director of the Graduate Program of Udayana University was Prof. Dr. dr. I Putu Gede Adiatmika, M.Kes who was assisted by the Deputy Director I, Ir. Ida Ayu Astarini, M.Sc.,Ph.D., and the Deputy Director II, Dr. Ir. Ida Bagus Alit Swamardika, M.Erg.

Vision & Mission of The Graduate Program of Udayana University

VISION

Vision Udayana University Graduate Program is the realization of Udayana University Graduate Program who is able to produce graduates Winning, Independent, and cultured in 2025.

To achieve its vision, there are the missions:

  1. Organizing higher education and science and technology development and top quality produce graduates who have the moral / ethical / moral, and have high competence and integrity in accordance with KKNI, SNDikti and demands of local communities, nationally and internationally.
  2. Develop research and community service to the public in accordance with SNDikti, the development of science and technology for the benefit of society, nation and world.
  3. Boosting the capacity of human resources Unud PPs towards excellent service and customer satisfaction.
  4. Boosting and utilization of infrastructure facilities of international standard.
  5. Improving governance, strengthening accountability, organization structure of the organization that is efficient, effective, transparent, and accountable.
  6. To develop cooperation in various parties in order to improve the quality of the Tri Dharma PT.
