To Improve national level achievements, BEM FMIPA UNUD holds PKM INITIATION 2022

To introduce PKM (Program Kreativitas Mahasiwa - Student Creativity Program), especially to new students batch 2021 in the hope of developing student interest and innovation in expressing their ideas and creativity through PKM writing and being able to excel at the national level, the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University (Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa - BEM FMIPA) held a series of 3 Big Events PKM activities which this year were held online on 26 and 27 February 2022.


The activity which is full of a sense of kinship and critical thinking with the theme "Increasing Student Interest in Innovating and Creating Through Student Creativity Programs for Creating Excellent Young Generation" was attended by 452 students from all study programs in the FMIPA environment, also attended by the Dean and vice dean FMIPA, Coordinator of study programs within FMIPA, Lecturer of Student Affairs for FMIPA, chairman of BEM, Chair of BPM, and Chair of student associations in FMIPA online for two days 26-27 February 2022 are expected to be able to produce PKM proposals that can be competed in the 2022 PIMNAS event.


In addition to the participants were given an explanation of how to make a good proposal about

also filled with sharing sessions related to tips and tricks in the preparation of PKM proposals so that they can pass to PIMNAS which will be submitted by I Made Putra Arya Winata, an active student from the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University who has experience passing PIMNAS in 2020 and 2021, this session is also at the same time become one of the innovations in the 2022 FMIPA PKM Initiation activities.

Tips and trik dalam penyusunan proposal PKM by  Made Putra Arya Winata


The chairman of the FMIPA PKM INITIATION committee, Ni Luh Dian Saptari Amelia Putri from the Pharmacy study program, in her report said that the activity which was attended by 452 participants began with registration on February 21-25, then continued with the peak activity on February 26 and 27, 2022. It is hoped that FMIPA students who take part in the PKM initiation can understand all the knowledge gained at the peak event as a form of effort in realizing the goals and themes of the 2022 PKM initiation. The draft of the PKM proposal as the output of the activity, which took three weeks to complete, still needs to be discussed at the PPP (Proposal Writing Training) in 2022, so that a complete proposal is obtained as a representative from FMIPA in the selection event at the university level.


Followed by remarks from the chairman of BEM FMIPA, Eka Saputra from the Physics study program, thanks to the committee who have worked hard to realize the annual BEM FMIPA activity, thanks are also conveyed to resource persons who have been willing to take the time to provide PKM materials, as well as all participants who have attended and participated. Eka has high hopes for this activity where it is hoped that the well-designed 2022 PKM FMIPA INITIATION activity can increase the passage of the FMIPA PKM team to the 2022 Pimnas event.


Dean of FMIPA - Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Si, Ph.D

In his speech as well as opening the activity, the Dean of FMIPA Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Si, Ph.D., who was accompanied by the representatives of the Dean of FMIPA UNUD said that the role of students in the main achievement of PKM was very important in fulfilling the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) of Udayana University. So it is hoped that all participants who attend this event can pass at least at the university level. Watiniasih also hopes that the study program coordinators in the FMIPA environment can emphasize the role of PKM supervisors so that they can carry out guidance as well as possible so that what we all hope can be achieved.
