Visit of the National Research and Innovation Agency to the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University and Research with RIIM BRIN-Laboratory of Heat Pipe and Nano Technology, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University

Thursday 18 August 2022 The National Research and Innovation Agency Team, in this case the Nuclear Reactor Technology Research Center Team, made a working visit and joint research to the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University for 3 days from 18 to 20 August 2022. 16 Personnel from the BRIN Team who was chaired by Dr. Ir. Mulya Juarsa, S.Si., MESc was accepted by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, Ir. I Ketut sudarsana, ST., Ph.D in Courtroom II, Dean Building, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, Jimbaran.

In his speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering expressed his gratitude to the National Research and Innovation Agency Team and research groups who have long collaborated with the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University both in terms of student practical work, MBKM research internships, joint research with the spirit of Engineering to continue to improve and expand cooperation with Research and Industry Institute. The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University hopes that the cooperation that has been established can continue to be improved and developed in other fields of cooperation. This effort is of course a very good step, especially in the application of the tri dharma of higher education.

The theme for this activity is "Innovation of Fluid-based Passive Cooling Technology Nanobubbles and Nanofluids in the Aspect of Thermal Management to improve the safety of Large Type Nuclear Power Plants and SMR". For three days in Architecture, the National Research and Innovation Agency Team had an agenda for the RIIM Joint Signing between the National Research and Innovation Agency-Udayana University Faculty of Engineering and joint experiments on the synthesis and characterization of nanofluids. The characterization was carried out on the dynamic characterization of nanofluids through the flow rate of nanofluids through a flow calibrator.

This research collaboration is planned to have the output of 25 reputable international papers and patents, as well as students who participate in Deggre by Research. As an observer of the PIC of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University who carried out this research collaboration, Dr. Ir. Wayan Nata Septiadi, ST., MT from the Heat Pipe and Nano Technology Laboratory, where this research collaboration was carried out in a consortium between the National Research and Innovation Agency, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, UGM and UNPAD.
