As part of the Impactful Campus program, Udayana University Faculty of Law students, members of the Sidan Village Development Group 2026, conducted a Legal Counseling session on Child Protection Against Sexual Violence with the theme “I Am My Body’s Hero, Dare to Speak Up and Protect Myself.” The activity took place on May 29–30 and June 2–3, 2026, at Sidan 1 Elementary School, Sidan 2 Elementary School, Sidan 3 Elementary School, and Sidan 4 Elementary School.
This community service activity demonstrates Udayana University’s concrete contribution to providing education that is not only academically oriented but also has a direct impact on the community, particularly in child protection efforts from an early age.

Through this counseling, students are taught the importance of protecting themselves from various forms of sexual violence. Using interactive and educational methods, students are taught to recognize private body parts, understand boundaries when interacting with others, and learn what steps to take in an unsafe situation.
The students’ high level of enthusiasm was evident in their participation throughout the event. The outreach included a question-and-answer session, educational games, and simple simulations, ensuring the material was easily understood and enjoyed by the children. This activity received full support from the school as part of a collaborative effort to create a safe and child-friendly learning environment.
Through this activity, the Faculty of Law at Udayana University demonstrated its commitment to building legal awareness within the community while strengthening the role of higher education institutions as agents of social change. The presence of students in the community is expected to have a tangible impact on creating a school culture that is more concerned with protecting and fulfilling children’s rights.
This program aligns with the Impact Campus spirit, which encourages higher education institutions to provide solutions to social issues through education, community service, and sustainable empowerment.
