Denpasar, June 12, 2026 – The 2026 Pedungan Village Development Team, Impact Campus, of Udayana University, successfully held an educational workshop entitled “Eco Enzyme Goes to School: Utilizing Eco Enzyme as an Innovative Solution for Environmentally Friendly Organic Waste Management” and distributed 45 liters of Eco Enzyme (equivalent to 30 1.5-liter bottles) in Pedungan Village/Pedungan Traditional Village.
This workshop aims to instill environmental awareness and provide practical skills to the younger generation in processing household waste into useful products. This interactive workshop provided a comprehensive presentation on the waste sorting process, the definition and benefits of Eco Enzyme, the ingredients and manufacturing method for Eco Enzyme, and the Eco Enzyme fermentation process.

The 2026 Pedungan Village Development Team invited three schools: Ganesha Junior High School, Dharma Wiweka Junior High School, and PGRI 4 Junior High School in Denpasar to participate in this workshop. Participants were encouraged to understand that organic waste does not have to be a burden, but can be transformed into a multipurpose liquid free from hazardous chemicals.
The Coordinator of the 2026 Pedungan Village Development Team, I Gusti Agung Ngurah Gorda, stated that this activity represents a concrete effort to connect campus knowledge with community needs. “Through schools, we want to foster awareness and concern among the younger generation for waste management and environmental preservation,” he said.

The Secretary of the Pedungan Village Head, I Wayan Diana, in his remarks expressed his appreciation for the Eco Enzyme Workshop organized by the Pedungan Village Development Team 2026 as a form of environmental awareness. He stated that this activity provided an opportunity for the younger generation to understand the importance of processing organic waste through the production of Eco Enzymes and encouraged participants to adopt environmentally conscious habits from an early age.
It is hoped that after participating in this workshop, students and educators will be able to apply and share this knowledge with their families and surrounding communities, thereby fostering a culture of sustainable waste management and supporting the creation of a beautiful and sustainable Pedungan environment.
