Jimbaran – Udayana University hosted the Baligivation 2026 Roadshow, organized by the Bank Indonesia Representative Office in Bali Province, held in the Theater Room, Lecture Building, Jimbaran Campus, on Wednesday (June 24, 2026). This event is part of an effort to strengthen the digital ecosystem and improve financial literacy, especially among the younger generation. The event was attended by Udayana University students and high school and vocational school students in South Bali.
The event opened with remarks from the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya, S.P., M.Agr., representing the Rector of Udayana University. In his remarks, the Vice Rector expressed his appreciation to Bank Indonesia and all the organizers for entrusting Udayana University as the location for the Baligivation 2026 Roadshow.

The Vice Rector stated that this trust was an honor and a demonstration of the synergy between universities, the government, the business world, and various stakeholders in driving digital transformation and strengthening the innovation ecosystem in Bali. He stated that Udayana University is committed to supporting the development of superior human resources through collaboration in education, research, innovation, and community service.
“Udayana University highly appreciates Bank Indonesia’s commitment to building a digital ecosystem capable of producing superior, innovative talents who are ready to face future challenges. We hope this activity will inspire the younger generation to continue innovating and strengthen collaboration in realizing sustainable and competitive Balinese economic growth in the digital era,” he said.

Meanwhile, Putu Paulus Adi Susila, Assistant Director of the Bank Indonesia (BI) Bali Province Representative Office, in his remarks, also expressed his appreciation to Udayana University for its support and collaboration in organizing the Baligivation 2026 Roadshow.
Various programs introduced during this activity included education on digital payment systems, financial literacy, consumer protection, and several competitions such as Bali Smart, Semeton Eling Digital, Banjar Digital, and other digital literacy competitions. Through this series of activities, Bank Indonesia hopes that the public, especially the younger generation, will gain a better understanding of the safe, wise, and responsible use of digital financial services.

He also emphasized the importance of synergy between Bank Indonesia, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the banking industry, universities, schools, communities, and the public in building an inclusive and sustainable digital ecosystem to support Bali’s economic growth.
The event continued with a workshop featuring speakers from the Bank Indonesia Bali Province Representative Office who presented materials related to understanding digital payment systems, consumer protection, rupiah currency management, and the development of digital financial service innovation in Indonesia.
