Udayana University’s Career and Alumni Development Unit (UPKA) held “Udayana Career Days” from Wednesday (September 23, 2026) to Thursday (September 24, 2026) at the Agrocomplex Building on the Denpasar Campus. Held in conjunction with Udayana University’s 64th Anniversary celebrations, the event served as a platform to connect the industry with job seekers.
UPKA Head Dr. Kadek Dwita Apriani, S.Sos, M.I.P., stated that 11 corporate partners participated, offering a total of 300 job vacancies. She emphasized that Udayana Career Days 2026 took place amidst a tightening job market and a shifting landscape regarding job applicants. Consequently, the event provided access to job vacancy information not only for Udayana University alumni but also for the general public.
“This is good news for both our partners and us, as it allows us to provide tangible benefits to the community. Looking ahead, we plan to potentially redesign this event into a hybrid job fair,” Dwita explained.
Meanwhile, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya, S.P., M.Agr., expressed his hope that Udayana Career Days would serve as more than just a venue for job hunting. He encouraged students and alumni to use this opportunity to understand the demands of the workforce, build professional networks, and prepare for and develop their future careers.
He also expressed appreciation for the participating corporate partners and hoped that the synergy between Udayana University and its industry partners would continue to strengthen. The collaboration extends beyond graduate recruitment to include student competency development and the enhancement of graduate quality to meet workforce needs.
“I hope this event delivers tangible benefits, expands job opportunities and professional networks, and serves as a stepping stone for students and alumni to achieve the best possible careers,” he said.
