The Batuan Village Development Team, Faculty of Law, Unud held an outreach on village justice on Monday (8/6/2026). This socialization raised the theme “The Role of Village Officials as Paralegals in Resolving Minor Legal Problems in Batuan Village”. To support the provision of in-depth and relevant material, this socialization presents Prof. Dr. I Dewa Gede Palguna, S.H., M.Hum. as a speaker. Prof. Dewa Gede Palguna is an Honorary Councilor of the Constitutional Court and a Professor at the Faculty of Law at Udayana University who is experienced in the field of justice. The aim of this socialization is to provide an understanding regarding village justice and open a discussion space for traditional officials regarding problems in Batuan Village.
This socialization activity was carried out at the Batuan Village Head’s office, attended by 15 invited participants from each traditional village. The socialization began with the presentation of material related to the legal basis of traditional villages by the speaker, then the participants were invited to express their views regarding the problems in Batuan Village. Ari Anggara as Village Head admitted that it was very helpful to have a discussion space like this because it could provide new understanding for village officials in Batuan Village.
