Denpasar – The LAMEMBA (Independent Accreditation Institute for Economics, Management, Business & Accounting) Assessor Team conducted a Field Assessment for the Professional Accountant Education (PPAk) Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Udayana University at the MM FEB Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar. The four-day activity was held from June 24 to 27, 2026.
The Field Assessment was opened by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Ir. I Nengah Sujaya, M.Agr.Sc., Ph.D., representing the Rector of Udayana University. Also in attendance were the Vice Rector for General Affairs and Finance, Prof. Agoes Ganesha Rahyuda, SE., MT., Ph.D., the Dean and Vice Deans of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Udayana University, Heads of Institutions within Udayana University, the Chair of the FEB Senate, Professors within the FEB, as well as Study Program Coordinators and Unit Coordinators within the Faculty of Economics and Business at Udayana University.

The assessors present at the Field Assessment were Prof. Aulia Fuad Rahman, SE., M.Sc., D.B.A., Ak., CA. (Brawijaya University) and Arthik Davianti, SE., MSi., Ph.D., AK., CA., CSRS., CSRA., (CSP). (Satya Wacana Christian University).
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. In his remarks, Nengah Sujaya stated that Udayana University currently offers a total of 136 study programs, of which 84, or approximately 64 percent, have achieved Excellent and A accreditation. This achievement is largely due to the extraordinary contribution of the Faculty of Economics and Business. Of the 12 study programs at the Faculty of Economics and Business, 10 have achieved Excellent status, 1 has A status, and 1 has Very Good status.
The only study program currently holding an A status is the Professional Accounting Education Study Program (PPAk). Through this field assessment, the Vice Rector sincerely hopes that PPAk will soon achieve Excellent accreditation. This is crucial, considering that PPAk Unud is the only professional accounting study program in Bali and a primary destination for accounting graduates from all over Indonesia. In the FEB’s accounting academic roadmap, all D3 through S2 levels have achieved “Unggul” status, leaving only the Doctoral (S3) Accounting program, which will open in 2023, and the PPAk study program, which is our shared “Unggul” target.
Udayana University has been developing an Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) for 20 years, since 2006. Through this visit, the university aims to demonstrate that this commitment to quality is truly alive in the PPAk study program. The assessors welcome input, suggestions, and ample room for improvement as a basis for future quality improvement policies.

“Our target is very ambitious, not only pursuing national “Unggul” accreditation, but also international recognition, as FEB has pioneered through achievements with AUN-QA, FIBAA, AACSB membership, and the goal of achieving AACSB accreditation as the world’s gold standard,” said the Vice Rector.
Meanwhile, Prof. Aulia Fuad Rahman said that her party was here to carry out field assessment activities which were planned to take place over the next two days. The first day will focus fully on conducting field assessments, to review and verify the important points required by LAMEMBA and the second day will focus on independent work, followed by a joint discussion regarding the draft minutes.
“We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the team that has completed the required data and we have obtained the data in the form of document links which we can access. We hope that, with this complete supporting evidence, the verification process can run more quickly and smoothly,” he said.
It was further conveyed that his presence here as an assessor was not at all a judge, but purely as an assessor whose job was to carry out assessments and verify the conformity between the supporting evidence in the field and what had been conveyed in the DED (Self Evaluation Document) and DKPS (Study Program Performance Document).
He hopes that what we will carry out together over the next two days can run well and smoothly and provide the best results for this institution.
