Denpasar, 15 July 2026 – Udayana University (Unud) held a Cooperative Briefing in the context of the Establishment of the Multi-Business Cooperative (KSU) Unud Jagaditha Kencana at Room 3.10 of the Postgraduate Building, Denpasar Campus, Udayana University, Wednesday (15/7/2026).
This activity presented resource persons from the Bali Province Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises Service, namely Ni Made Susialiawati, S.H., Operational Service Manager, and Ngakan Putu Kutha Panji Sastrawan, S.Pt., Operational Service Manager, who provided counseling regarding the basics of cooperatives, procedures for establishing cooperatives, legality, and professional cooperative governance.

In his speech, the Chancellor of Udayana University, Prof. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, ST., Ph.D expressed his appreciation to the Bali Province Cooperatives and SMEs Service for the assistance and direction in the process of establishing KSU Unud Jagaditha Kencana. The Chancellor emphasized that the formation of this cooperative is a strategic step in building an independent, productive and prosperous campus ecosystem based on a spirit of family and mutual cooperation.
According to the Chancellor, the name KSU Unud Jagaditha Kencana has a philosophy that reflects the hope for prosperity, prosperity and superior quality for all its members. This cooperative is expected to become a strong, transparent and accountable economic forum to support the needs of the Udayana University academic community.

In this activity, the Bali Province Department of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises explained various material related to cooperative principles, cooperative organizational tools, sources of capital, and the stages of establishing a cooperative in accordance with applicable regulations.
The Chancellor also invited the entire academic community to actively participate in the process of establishing KSU Unud Jagaditha Kencana so that it can grow into a healthy, modern and professional cooperative and provide benefits for all members.
