Denpasar – Udayana University (Unud), through the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), participated in the Field Assessment of the Diploma Three (D3) Library Study Program, which took place in the 4th-floor Hall of the FISIP Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, on Wednesday (July 8, 2026). The activity featured two assessors from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT): Prof. Dr. Paulus Israwan Setyoko, M.Sc. (General Soedirman University) and Prof. Dr. Laksmi, S.S., M.A. (University of Indonesia).
The Rector of Udayana University, represented by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Ir. I Nengah Sujaya, M.Agr.Sc., Ph.D., stated in his remarks that the field assessment is a crucial opportunity to obtain strategic input for improving the quality of study programs. “We will gain critical insights and input from the assessors, so any feedback they provide will be invaluable in improving the quality of the Diploma Three Library Studies Program,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Drs. I Nengah Punia, M.Si., expressed his appreciation for the presence of the assessors and the faculty’s commitment to improving academic quality. “As faculty leaders, we welcome both teams of assessors. We hope that their presence will provide us with valuable guidance regarding the completeness of the LKPS (Learning Performance Assessment) and LED (Level Performance Assessment) documents,” he said.
In his remarks, assessor Prof. Dr. Paulus Israwan Setyoko, M.Si., also provided initial input regarding quality assurance and study program resources. “The internal quality assurance is good, and we must report on this in the future,” he stated.
The field assessment was also attended by various leaders and partners, including the Head of the Learning Development and Quality Assurance Institute (LP3M), the Head of the Library, the Head of the Information Resources Unit, LPPM, and the Field Assessment Task Force Team.
In addition, representatives from external partners such as Warmadewa University, ISI Bali, Bali State Polytechnic, Bank Indonesia, SMA Negeri 2 Denpasar, BPTP-HPT, and the Tabanan District Court were also present.
Through this field assessment, it is hoped that the D3 Library Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Udayana University, can continuously improve its governance and academic quality, while strengthening its competitiveness at the national level.
