Amidst geopolitical pressures, exchange rate volatility, and global oil price dynamics, fiscal literacy is no longer merely academic discourse, but a strategic necessity for understanding the direction of the Indonesian economy.
Through the 2026 Fiscal Policy Public Lecture, the Center for Public Finance Research (CPFR) of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia and the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, provide a space for dialogue between public policy and academia. CPFR is a strategic collaboration between the Ministry of Finance and selected state universities as centers for fiscal policy literacy, research, and dissemination.
For Bali, this forum is increasingly relevant. As the regional economy relies heavily on tourism, understanding the state budget, inflation, energy subsidies, exchange rates, and fiscal resilience is key to building a more resilient, adaptive, and sustainable economy.

FEB Unud is committed to providing academic collaborations that are relevant, impactful, and contribute to the future of the Balinese and Indonesian economies.
