Udayana University Receives Benchmarking Visit from the Academic Support Unit (UPA) for Career Development, Entrepreneurship, and Language at Tidar University

Jimbaran – Udayana University (Unud) received a benchmarking visit from the Academic Support Unit (UPA) for Career Development, Entrepreneurship, and Language at Tidar University on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the Bangsa Room, Rectorate Building, Jimbaran Campus. This visit aimed to strengthen the management of student services and graduate development. The UPA for Career Development, Entrepreneurship, and Language at Tidar University was received directly by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs at Udayana University and related staff.

In his remarks, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya, expressed his appreciation and welcomed the Head of the UPA for Career Development and Entrepreneurship at Tidar University, Dra. Lucia Rita Indrawati, M.Sc., and the entire team, consisting of the Entrepreneurship Team, Career Team, Tracer Study Team, Guidance and Counseling Services Unit, and Language Team at Tidar University.

This benchmarking activity was conducted to share experiences and strategies for improving higher education performance, particularly in the areas of career development, student entrepreneurship, tracer study, counseling services, and strengthening language competencies. The presence of the full team from Tidar University was considered a strategic step in addressing various challenges for higher education, particularly those related to achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and graduate readiness for the workforce.

To support this goal, Udayana University presented several units directly related to the focus of the discussion: the Career and Alumni Development Unit (UPKA/CDC), the Entrepreneurship Development Unit (UPK/EDC), the Business Incubator, the Counseling Services Unit, and the Language Unit. Each unit presented various programs and strategies they have implemented to support the development of competitive students and graduates.

The Vice Rector for Student Affairs emphasized that this meeting was not simply a forum for sharing information from Udayana University to Tidar University, but rather a forum for two-way discussions, allowing the two institutions to exchange best practices, innovations, and solutions to various challenges faced in managing student services.

Through this benchmarking activity, the two universities are expected to strengthen collaboration and generate strategic recommendations to improve the quality of services for career development, entrepreneurship, tracer studies, student mental health, and language competency. In addition to gaining new insights and strategies, this visit is also expected to further strengthen the institutional relationship between Tidar University and Udayana University.
