The Violence Prevention and Handling Unit (PPK PT) of Udayana University held a Violence Prevention and Handling Education session on Tuesday (June 23, 2026) in the Postgraduate Hall of the Denpasar Campus. This activity targeted lecturers and educational staff from five faculties: Law, Engineering, Tourism, Medicine, and Economics and Business. A similar activity was also held on May 25, 2026, targeting lecturers and educational staff from eight other faculties.

This education session aligns with Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Permendikbudristek) Number 55 of 2024 concerning the Prevention and Handling of Violence in Higher Education and Regulation of the Rector of Udayana University Number 6 of 2026. Based on these two regulations, universities are required to disseminate information on violence prevention and handling to the academic community to create a safe, inclusive, and violence-free campus environment. This was conveyed by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya, S.P., M.Agr.
The Vice Rector emphasized that Udayana University, through its PPK PT Unit, not only conducts outreach and education, but also participates in handling cases of violence involving the academic community on campus. He encouraged the entire community to work together to understand the regulations for preventing violence and implement them in their daily lives.

The event featured three speakers: the Head of PPK PT Udayana University, Dr. I Gusti Agung Ayu Dike Widhiyaastuti, S.H., M.H., who discussed the prevention and handling of violence in the university environment. Furthermore, the Executive Director of the Indonesian Family Planning Association (PKBI) Bali, Dr. I Made Oka Negara, S.Ked, M.Biomed, FIAS, discussed reproductive and sexual health. Dr. dr. Anak Ayu Sri Wahyuni, Sp.KJ(K), a member of the PPK PT Unit, addressed the topic of mental health.
