This activity is one concrete implementation of the Faculty of Law, Udayana University’s Village Development Program, which encourages increased legal awareness in the village community, particularly regarding the importance of protecting artistic and literary works created by the Bakbakan community through copyright registration and geographical indication registration for all potential resources in Bakbakan Village. The socialization was carried out because most of the people in the fostered village still do not understand the definition, objects of protection, intellectual property rights holders, and the technicalities of copyright registration and geographical indication registration for Sela Kabetan in accordance with applicable regulations. The material was delivered by speakers from the Directorate General of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Law of Bali Province, Dewa Ayu Agung Trio Parimita Dewi, S.H., M.H., along with Putu Bayu Santhiyoga, S.H.
