Jimbaran – Udayana University conducted an online Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK) for New Student Candidates for the Partnership Program on Friday (June 5, 2026). The UTBK took place in a single session with 21 participants. The Independent Selection for the Partnership Program is a selection process for new students through collaborations with government institutions, companies, institutions/foundations, or other parties with collaborative relationships with Udayana University. One of the requirements for participation in this selection is a written recommendation from the Partner. The UTBK was directly reviewed by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Udayana University, which took place in the Computer Room of the Jimbaran Campus Library Building.

Vice Rector Prof. Ir. I Nengah Sujaya, M.Agr.Ac., Ph.D., stated that this pathway was opened for the first time this year, although it had been planned for the previous year. This year, there are several independent admission schemes, one of which is the partnership pathway, which essentially provides opportunities for prospective students recommended by Udayana University’s strategic partners. This means that these partners will contribute significantly to the future development of Udayana University. In addition to the partners’ role, it must also be ensured that prospective students meet quality standards, so that tests are conducted in accordance with standardized procedures. Graduation is based on the academic ability of prospective students in answering the questions on the test. The quota is 10 percent of the quota for each study program.

“The point is, we continue to guarantee quality, because the success of prospective students after they become students cannot be ignored. This will ensure that it does not affect the length of their studies, including their competency after graduation at Udayana University,” said the Vice Rector.

Based on general monitoring, the implementation of the UTBK (Competitive Test) for New Student Selection under the Partnership Program is running smoothly.
