Udayana University’s Public Information Management Officer (PPID) Supports Strengthening Information Transparency at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences

Denpasar – In an effort to strengthen the implementation of public information transparency within the university, the Udayana University Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) Team actively participated in the PPID Workshop held by the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, in the Soekarno Room, Poerbatjaraka Building, FIB, Udayana University, Denpasar Campus.

At the event, the PPID presented Prof. Dr. dr. I Putu Gede Adiatmika, M.Kes., Expert Staff to the Rector for Public Communication, who previously served as the Head of PPID Unud, as the main speaker. He provided reinforcement regarding public communication strategies and information management within the university.

In his presentation, Prof. Adiatmika emphasized the importance of the PPID’s role in building public trust through accurate and responsible information transparency. He stated that, “Information disclosure is not merely an administrative obligation, but an institutional commitment to building transparency and accountability to the public.”

He further stated that effective public information management must be supported by an integrated system and human resources who understand the principles of public communication. “The Public Information and Communications Agency (PPID) must be at the forefront of providing information that is not only fast, but also accurate and accountable,” he added.

This activity is expected to improve the management and provision of public information for all work units, particularly within the Faculty of Humanities.
