SIMULASI PEREDAMAN DISTORSI HARMONISA MENGGUNAKAN FILTER AKTIF DAN MENGANALISIS RUGI-RUGI DAYA PADA SISTEM KELISTRIKAN DI HOTEL THE BENE KUTA

The Bene Hotel Kuta is located on the road Bene Sari Kuta-Bali, has an installed power supply capacity 630 KVA. Non-linear load contained in SDP resulted harmonic distortion impacting on losses. The content of harmonic currents in the electrical system in The Bene Hotel Kuta is not on standard IEEE 519-1992 to make the resulting power decrease. This study analyzes the installation of an active filter high-pass type in order to reduce harmonic distortion due to non-linear load, and to analyze power losses in line with the simulation using ETAP software. Harmonic distortion simulation analysis performed before and after installation of an active filter to get the value of THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) and meets the standard IEEE 519-1992. The results of the analysis simulation with active filter type hight-pass on the electrical system in The Bene Hotel Kuta, that the active filter can reduce harmonic distortion in the electrical system with THDI SDP1: 0.81%, SDP2: 1.97%, SDP3: 1.92%, SDP4: 0.86%, SDP5: 2.30%, SDP6: 1.05%, and SDP7: 1.68%. Then the value THDV results of running simulations on all SDP before installing active filter is 1.92% and after installation of an active filter is 0.31%. The simulation results active filter installation has to meet the standard IEEE 519-1992 with THDi and THDV below 5%. Total of losses before the installation of the active filter is 1205.09 Watt and after installation 6,067 Watt. The existence of an active filter installation resulting in a losses decreased power losses.
