UNIVERSITY OF UDAYANA AND GOVERNMENT OF INDIA NEW COOPERATION INITIATION

Denpasar - Wednesday (07/03/2018) at Post Graduate Session of Sudirman Campus, Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information Udayana University accompanied by Vice Dean for Student Affairs Faculty of Cultural Sciences received Director of Indian Cultural Center visit, This meeting discussed the continuation of two MoU signed by Rector of Unud with Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), India in 2015, and MOU Unud with Indian Council for Cultural Relations New Delhi, India 2017.

Until now the technical activities agreed upon by both parties in terms of the development of the Chair of Ayurveda and the Chair of Sanskrit have not been implemented as expected, but other activities such as visits and the involvement of the parties in promoting the culture of both countries are well established.

To anticipate the development of the Ayurveda program in the Faculty of Medicine and Sanskrit Language Development at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, it is proposed to initiate a new cooperation program which is planned to be focused on culture and philosophy. It is expected that these activities can be immediately followed up in the near future. (HM)
