Pengotan village is one of nine villages in Bangli Rengency, Bali, Indonesia. In year 2009, the village has been reported as the poorest in Bangli. Most population in the village is farmers with low education background. Therefore their life is below national living of standard. Thus it seriously affects their health, education, etc.

Book of Udayana Community Development Program, Di Desa Pengotan, Bangli, (2010 – 2014) is recently published to present general profile of population in Desa (village) Pengotan, grand strategy and action plan to develop the village as one of Udayana University Community Programs.
