The first ceremony for the construction of the Central Laboratory Building Electrical Engineering ,Department of Information Technology ,Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Udayana University , Udayana University be held on Tuesday, August 10th, 2010 at 10:00 pm which was attended by  Rector Udayana University represented by Vice Rector II (Dr. I Nyoman Arcana, Sp.Biok), Head of  Faculty of Engineering (Dekan), Assistant Dekan  II Faculty of Engineering, Chairman of the Electrical Engineering Department, Lecturers, Students, Contractors, Supervisors and Planners. Construction of the new building was used to expedite the process of learning and teaching in Information Technology Studies Program, which of the favorites Studies Program at Udayana University, in year three was total student aproximated 200 person Information Technology Electrical Engineering, while totaling 550 people.

The plan of construction of new building Information Technology Center will be built on four floors are used for: (1). Lecturer space, (2). Lecture Room, (3). Space Laboratory, (4). Courtroom. And total area Information Technology Central Laboratory building is approximately 2150 square meters. For the initial phase of construction to the floor one would expect to spend funds on non-tax revenues of approximately one billion rupiah. Expected in November 2010 this building was to be used as classrooms and lecture time to overcome the problem of electrical engineering majors and Information Technology took place from 08.30 pm till 16:30 pm every day. Given this additional classrooms to accommodate new students of Information Technology Studies Program could be improved.
