Food Security Seminar and Partnership with Texas A&M University

The seminar was held on Friday, 26 March 2010, and brought together agricultural leaders from Texas A&M University, USDA and Indonesian institutions to discuss current efforts of ensuring food security in Indonesia and the Southeast Asian region. More Specifically, the focus is on utilizing indigenous crops for food processing and biodiversity. Each institutions discuss their current activities and programs in this area, and the seminar concluded with discussion long-term, collaborative efforts amongst attending institutions.
